Sunscreen also called as sun block is a cream or lotion or in a spray form that prevents harmful rays of the sun from reaching the skin. Sunscreen can either absorb the radiation or reflect it away from reaching the skin.
Sunscreens are of two types’ physical sunscreens and chemical sunscreens. Physical sunscreens reflect the radiation away from reaching the skin and chemical sunscreens actually absorbs the UV light.
If harmful rays reaching earth can be split as UVA and UVB. UVA rays causes wrinkles, photodermatitis, and early signs of aging, melanoma and symptoms such as sunburns are caused by UVB rays.
Proper use of Sunscreen can prevent development of wrinkles, sagging skin, melanoma and various types of skin cancer.
